Feeding mash, or maccs in Hungarian, has been a centuries-old tradition among horse owners because of its beneficial effects. Equusline now also offers mash feed, which is easy to prepare, tasty and supports the health of your horse to the maximum.
- You can eat it in pulp or liquid form
- Every horse's favourite feed
- Highly digestible
- Also recommended for horses with digestive problems (stomach ulcers, frequent colic, diarrhoea, etc.)
- Feeding is particularly recommended for older horses or horses with tooth problems
Maccs have traditionally been used as a supplement to general feeds: after hard work, during illness and convalescence, or to support normal digestive function, they are usually recommended to be fed occasionally or for shorter periods. However, you can feed your horse daily instead of his usual abract feed and reap all the benefits of maccs:
- Moisturising: brings much more moisture to your horse's digestive system than traditional tract feeds, muesli and feeds
- Helps digestion: thanks to its wheat bran and flaxseed content, it contributes to a healthy intestinal tract.
- Energising: the starch content, which is readily available in an easily accessible form, makes it recommended for horses in hard work.
- Delicious: even the most discerning horses will enjoy it
- Complex formula: contains all the nutrients your horse needs to stay healthy. Contains all the nutrients you need for a healthy horse.
- Simple: it can be prepared quickly, hot or cold, but does not require boiling.
Dosage recommendation:
Approx. 0.2 kg/100 kg body weight per day
Feeding suggestion: Pour on about twice as much hot or warm water as the amount of mash (1-3 litres of water for about 1 kg of Equusline Recovery Mash) and leave to stand for about 15 minutes. It can be fed occasionally or continuously.
