Sand-Ex is a pelleted fibre product made from all-natural food, Egyptian Plantain (Plantago Ovata), a soluble fibre source, combined with probiotics and prebiotics. Its use is recommended when sand has settled in the intestinal tract. Sand-Ex, also recommended for sand colic, is a natural fibre and microbial supplement that is very effective in promoting the natural flow of nutrients and the elimination of sand through the intestinal tract. The pellet form has the advantage that the product is swallowed by the horse and only gelatinises in the gut. Traditional Psyllium gelatinises quickly, often in the mouths of horses who don't like it and spit it out.

Composition: Oil 2%, Moisture 7%, Protein 17%, Fiber 31%, Ash 4.7%, Egyptian Plantain (Plantago Ovata), Flaxseed, Amino Acids, Lactobacillus Acidophillus, Bifidobacterium bifido and Prebiotics.

Ponies: 0.5 scoop (100 grams) once a month for 7 days a day.

Horses (up to 500 kg body weight): 1 scoop (200 grams) once a month for 7 days a day.

Horses (over 500 kg body weight): 1.5 scoops (300 grams) once a month for 7 days a day.

They contain only Jockey Club and FEI approved materials.

Storage of: in a dry, cool place at a temperature of 10-20 C, protected from light and moisture. To be sealed after use.
Dispensing: 1,5kg (EH 191) in bucket.

For 1.5 kg horses, 1 course is sufficient.
